Laundry never ends, am I right!?! I could easily do a load ever single day, but since I have the luxury of a community laundry room with 3 washers and dryers, I save my laundry for the weekend and am able to get it all done at the same time.

Last week I was doing loads upon loads of laundry when my last 3 batches were about done. I pulled each load out of the dryer and found that one of them was painted in red sparkly muck! I at first thought "oh what &)@?!% girl left their chap stick/lip gloss in the dryer?" Obviously I was quite upset, close to adult temper tantrum madness! However, I was mostly upset by the fact that most of those items in the dryer were Effy's clothing. And since he hardly has any clothing (at least compared to Keke's monstrosity of clothing), it was just icing on the cake.

I am trying to calm down and see the damage for what it is. Carefully examining each item to see what I need to work on, little pieces of paper began to fall out.. I picked them up and took a closer look and realized what had really happened... EFFY!

Yes that's right, I can blame it on Effy! He has been fixated on putting crayons in his pockets, usually black ones, but this time it was a Tinker Bell red sparkle crayon... YUP. So no "little girls" to blame other than my own son or myself.. since I do the laundry I guess I should have checked his pockets better? Come on! He's 2, not exactly the age to be keeping things in his pockets.. but I guess it begins at some point, right?!

So I did some research online and found a unique concoction to use to get the stains out. And here is it for your "future problem" pleasure: Crayon Stains on Clothing. I didn't actually need anything more than the vinegar, Oxyclean, and detergent to remove the stains, but I did let them soak longer in the sink using HOT water. Also I went back downstairs to clean the dryer and found that the Magic Eraser works wonders! Yes, after all that fuss I didn't want someone else to end up with stained clothes either.. because I already know what I would say..

On a very happy note I have some fabulous coupons to share with everyone! Just click below!
